Although the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club isn?t open this summer, Club Staff never stop planning new opportunities for Teens. Join the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club for some field trips over the next few weeks.
?Flyswatter Volleyball and Volunteering at the Open Door Community Kitchen?
Friday, July 27th: Trip to Country Meadow Village to watch a great game of Flyswatter Volleyball. Meet at the Club at 12:30. Lunch Provided. After the Game, Teens will volunteer at the Open Door Community Kitchen at Central United Methodist Church.?Teens will return to the Club by 6 pm.
After watching the game, Club Teens will be starting their own flyswatter volleyball team to challenge the Country Meadow Village. ?Team Whippersnapper? (aka SW Teens!) will have practice at The Club on Wednesday, August 1st, Wednesday, August 8th, and Wednesday, August 15th from 2-4 PM. All these practices and secret strategy sessions will lead up to the BIG GAME against the residents of Country Meadow Village on Wednesday, August 22nd at 2:00 PM.
?College Tour?
Tuesday,?July 31st: Teens will visit Skagit Valley College to tour the campus and departments. Meet at the Club at 1 pm. Teens who have already toured SVC should communicate the specific departments they want more information on. Again ? Lunch Provided! Teens will return to the Club by 4 pm.
Please Note: The Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club is now located at 915 McGarigle Road, on the north side of the Cascade Middle School Campus.
